A Glimpse into Sam's Day

During his break, Sam chats with colleagues. When his workday wraps up, he goes to the gym/plays basketball/watches TV for a while. In the evening, Sam eats dinner and spends time with his family or friends. Before bed, he gets ready for sleep. Finally, Sam falls asleep at around ten/eleven.

Steve Learns a Lesson
Sam was/had been/went a pretty careless/reckless/thoughtless kid. He often ignored/disregarded/failed to listen his/her/their parents' advice/instructions/warnings. One day, Sam decided/chose/wanted to climb/scale/go up the tallest/biggest/highest tree in the yard/garden/park. He didn't/couldn't/wasn't able to see/realize/understand the danger/risk/peril he was in. As he reached/got to/climbed up to the top, the branch/limb/twig broke/snapped/fell. Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.
- Fortunately/By chance, Sam wasn't/didn't get/sustained any serious/major/critical injuries.
- But, he learned a valuable lesson/teaching/truth: always listen/heed/pay attention to guidance/advice/warnings from trusted/reliable/responsible people.
From/After/That day on, Sam became much more cautious/careful/thoughtful. He understood/realized/learned the importance/value/significance of being safe/secure/protected.
Sam's New Friend
Sam was feeling a little sad. He wanted to have a new pal to play with. One day, while he was exploring in the woods, he spotted something interesting. It was a little creature with bright feathers. Sam quietly approached the creature and asked, "Hello! What's your title?" The creature grinned and replied Sam, "You can call me Lily!" And so, Sam made a new mate. They spent the rest of the day laughing together.
Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be close buddies forever. here
